The Impact of Green Tea and Coffee Consumption on the Reduced Risk of Stroke

Authors from Osaka, Japan have investigated the association of green tea and coffee consumption on stroke incidence in a general population. Results clearly demonstrate reduced stroke incidence among persons having regular, everyday consumption of one or both of these beverages on a daily basis. The study began in 1995 and ended in 2007 with total of 82 369 patients entering the study.
